Libraries are tools that democratize education, access and safe spaces.

The first libraries that SHOUT opened were in Tembisa and Shoshanguve. 60 000 BIC pens were used to create breath taking sculptures to fund the development of these libraries. Next, TT Lekalake Primary School received a new library, followed by Tlamatlama Primary School. SHOUT then provided a Seed Library for Mitchells Plain School.

We couldn’t have done it without the help of our partners, and there was great excitement when Steers joined Rounda to sustain Shout S.E.E.D Libraries.

SHOUT Foundation received R2-million towards building libraries.

Our work continues, and we have a new Makro-Shout Library coming soon.
